On November 2, 2023, Arlene Dean, a New York donor to animal rescues, filed a Class Action Federal RICO and Charity Fraud suit against New York City’s Animal Control and Care (“NYCACC”) partner Rescue Dogs Rescue Soldiers and numerous persons and entities organized with Rescue Dogs that defraud the public of donations to their sham dog rescue collecting hundreds of thousands a year they misappropriate for the personal benefit of the board and others.The complaint shows Rescue Dogs’ president Elizabeth Keller amassed an over One Million Dollar real estate portfolio by using two charities to purchase four properties in Cherry Valley New York, including an estate of 10 bedrooms. The complaint seeks an accounting of the sued corporations, holding the Board personally liable, restitution of funds to all donors since 2020, protection of the dogs and more.
